LGBTQ Ally Training for Faculty & Staff
Social Justice educator and facilitator, Chris Woods, will lead this three-hour training that will provide foundational language, terminology, and tools to being an effective ally to LGBTQ students, faculty, and staff. Space is limited.

Chris Woods is the program administrator at the New York University LGBTQ Student Center. Chris serves as the Anti-Racism Chair for the Board of the Consortium of Higher Education LGBT Resource Professionals. His research on how LGBTQ students of color and faith make meaning of their multiple intersecting identities, highlights his passion for engaging spirituality in queer spaces. Other passion areas and practical interests include engaging students in conversations about social justice outside of LGBTQ/multicultural  spaces, the experiences of queer survivors of sexual violence, and bi/multiracial identity development, to name a few.
