Apollo Night
Thank you for your interest in the event, however we are no longer accepting participants. We hope to see you at the Apollo Night on Friday, March 9th at Wilson Hall. Showtime is at 8pm! Please see below for brief description and history of the Apollo Theatre:

What is the Apollo Theatre?

Founded in 1934 in the heart of Harlem, New York, the Apollo Theater was established as an open space for the Black community to showcase its wide variety of talent and creativity. Today, it is responsible for jump starting the careers of many renowned recording artists, such as Billie Holiday, James Brown, Diana Ross, The Jackson 5, Stevie Wonder, Lauryn Hill, Jazmine Sullivan, Neyo... (and the list goes on).

In commemoration of the impact the Apollo Theater had on the Black community, and the opportunity it provided that was rarely afforded to those during the time period in which it was founded, we are proud to celebrate its achievements and hope you would join in celebration through your very own performance!
