Dear
friends,

Earlier this week a farmworker in Addison county suffered human rights abuses on a farm when he was denied payment for his hours worked, intimidated, physically attacked, kicked off the farm and threatened. A Migrant Justice organizer who accompanied the farmworker in an attempt to retrieve the stolen wages was also physically attacked.  Unfortunately this is not the first time something like this has happened on this farm.

This kind of abuse cannot be allowed to continue and the farmworker community is calling on allies to join them in standing up to these injustices at a rally this Saturday, February 29th.

We will meet at 9 am at the Salisbury Community School (286 Kelly Cross Rd, Salisbury, VT 05769) and then proceed together to the farm for a picket and rally.

Please join us and help us spread the word with trusted friends and family (we will not be sharing this on social media so please do not post on Facebook).

This is an important opportunity to stand with farmworker neighbors and demand justice. We hope to see you on Saturday at 9 am.

In solidarity!
Migrant Justice
