Civic Leadership Certificate Application
Thank you for your interest in joining the inaugural cohort of the Civic Leadership Certificate. Overall, the program will support emerging civic leaders to intentionally develop their leadership knowledge and capacities, connect with other passionate leaders, and design cohesion across their community-based learning experiences.

Those selected into the Civic Leadership cohort will compliment their community-based experiences with a series of interactive workshops that build transferable skills for active, ethical citizenship in the following areas:
  +Understanding themselves (self)
  +Collaborating with others (community)
  +Gaining practical competencies (practical)

The ten required elements for completion of the Certificate include seven CCE-offered workshops distributed in the three learning areas (listed +above), two social issue-specific trainings (selected by the student), and one synthesis experience (crafted by the cohort and student using project based learning principles, with advisor support).

Submit this application by noon on Tuesday, September 17th, and save the date for the CLC kick-off gathering (Sunday, September 22nd, 4:30-5:30pm on campus). Email Kailee (kbricknermcdonald@middlebury.edu) with questions.
