First-Generation Peer Mentoring Program Mentor Application
Please fill out this form by October 12. There is a MANDATORY Peer Mentor Training (tentatively October 20 from 1-4pm).

Mentors are students who have completed at least two semesters at Middlebury and are enthusiastic to provide personalized guidance and support to mentees. This includes but is not limited to introducing them to the campus social and academic environment, providing information about resources on campus, and providing overall insight to the Middlebury College experience. Mentors are thoughtful students with a minimum GPA of 3.0. A mentor is expected to have bi-monthly (twice a month) meetings or activities with their mentee. You are expected to submit a brief check-in after each meeting with your mentee. During the year, mentors are expected to lead at least one community activity per semester. These are opportunities for mentors and mentees to meet with the larger first-generation community on campus. Mentors must attend a mandatory training (tentatively October 20).
