- Listening to new music in your respective genre, sent to you by our music directors (Lucy & Micah)
- Reporting your thoughts on the music to the MDs so that we can give feedback to promoters and take them into account for weekly charts
- Being an ambassador of sorts for your genre at the station – sharing music with your friends, playing what you like on air
