JusTalks is reaching out to student organizations on campus to ask for their support of our proposal for a mandatory JusTalks program for all first year students. Started in Fall 2011, JusTalks is a student-led initiative to create spaces in which all students could engage with issues of identity, power, and privilege that affect all of our experiences at Middlebury. JusTalks is made up of two components: a one-day event during J-Term open to all students, and a weekly discussion section for First Year Seminars, both in the Fall and the Spring. Your organization's support will help us get closer to successfully working with the administration to implement our program and achieve our goal of 100% first year participation. Thank you!
