My Inspired, Authentic Self
This event encourages Middlebury students who identify as women to share their vision for themselves with the broader Middlebury community. This event aims to foster a community of support and understanding, empowering participants to be understood and understand the varying ways that people embody their visions for their lives in unique, inspired, and authentic ways. Individuals who are interested in being a part of this initiative must complete the form below, and be willing, ready, and able to explore and share their internal and external selves. Three participants will be selected to receive a free outfit and an hour of life coaching from Dorothea Langevin, a community member with over 30 years of experience in the fashion industry who is also a Certified Professional Life Coach. The deadline for applying for this journey is Monday, April 11th. This opportunity is co-sponsored by "Inspired" by D.L., the Chellis House Women's Resource Center, and Middlebury Women Leaders.

A Community Celebration of the REAL You

All applicants are highly encouraged to attend a networking reception and celebration of Middlebury leaders on Thursday, April 14th from 4:30 to 5:30 pm in Chellis House. Would you be able to attend and meet other authentic and inspired students who identify as women? *
As a part of this process, you must submit some form of a reflection on the following three questions: (1) What does an authentic leader look like to you, (2) How do you embody that vision, and (3) How does your background (gender, race, class, etc.) influence your self- expression? If you wish to respond in writing, you can do so below (a 12-word poem, an essay, whatever!). If you wish to answer these questions in another form (a painting, a video, etc.), you can submit them to myvisionforanauthenticself@gmail.com no later than April 11th. *
