Today’s New York Times:

  • In print on the Lower Level of Davis Family Library
  • Online, text only (no images) in several databases. Search for "New York Times" at go/journals/ for the links to these databases. You can also search "New York Times" in the Journals tab of the search function on the library homepage.\
  • Middlebury also has access to articles on The New York Times website for current students, faculty, and staff at both the College and the Institute. For access, “claim a pass” at http://accessnyt.com with a valid middlebury.edu email account. Student passes are good through their graduation year. Faculty and staff passes are good for 4 years; when the pass expires, obtain a new one at http://accessnyt.com. Middlebury’s access includes content back to 1851 through web browsers or the NYT app, but does not include Games or other supplementary content

  • 1857 to a few months ago on digital microfilm (useful if you know the date of the issue(s) or you want to browse)
  • text only, 1980-present in several databases, including Global Newstream. Search for New York Times at go/journals/ for the links to these databases. Or use the "Journals" tab on the library homepage to look it up.
