We are a group of students and staff committed to exposing the lies of Crisis Pregnancy Centers, starting with the Pregnancy Resource Center of Addison County. We believe that an organization that actively lies to women and knowingly peddles false information does not belong on our campus or in our community.
While CPCs look like legitimate healthcare providers, the information they spread is misleading, factually inaccurate, and religiously biased. Among the lies CPCs spread, they claim that abortion causes breast cancer, leads to infertility, and leads to alcoholism and depression. NONE of these statements have any factual backing.
By signing this petition, you will be supporting our efforts to ban the local CPC from attending student activities fairs and/or advertising on campus. You will be protecting people on campus from false medical information and misleading advertising.
