This response is for "Taboo: Stories Unsilenced." We are looking for people to share their stories at our event on the evening of Thursday, February 23rd at 8PM. The purpose of this event is to share stories about what is typically silenced/ not talked about on campus. Since this is a Feminist Action at Middlebury event, we love narratives centered around gender issues. However, because there are such a vast number of topics that are not widely talked about on this campus, topics we are looking for are discrimination, masturbation, coming into sexuality, sexual assault, STDs & STIs, abortion, and body image. Please share whatever story is important to you. These can be funny, sad, serious, and everything in between - we want a variety of moods for this event. Once we read all of the submissions, we will let you know if your response has been selected. If you are chosen to share your story, we will work with you to flesh out the details and work on its presentation. Each story should be about 5-10 minutes in length. 8-10 stories will be selected.
