The Trans Affinity Group (TAG) is a group of trans, nonbinary, gender non-conforming, questioning and generally non-cisgender people in the Middlebury community. Our group's purpose is aimed at fostering community and support by creating a safe space where our members' gender identities and pronouns are affirmed and respected.

Our meetings vary in purpose week to week, from just getting together to socialize and eat snacks to planning events or endeavors that promote trans-visibility or support on campus. While our meetings are mostly social in nature, it is a space where we often speak on very personal matters especially in regard to gender. Meetings and other events will be announced by email and in our Facebook group.

Due to the nature of wanting a space to support trans students rather than educate or promote allyship and in an effort to protect those who wish to be private about their gender identities, TAG is limited to those who identify as non-cisgender, gender nonconforming, or are questioning.

If you feel this applies to you and would like to be included in the facebook group and email list as well as informed of our meeting times and place, please list your name and email below. The facebook group is secret and email list will be saved in the TAG email (tag@middlebury.edu) for privacy's sake. You are also welcome to reach out to our email directly with any questions or concerns!
