Middlebury College’s Vermont Innovation Summer is a program supporting a cohort of students working at companies and on self-directed projects across Vermont's innovation ecosystem. The program was designed to create a community around innovative work, connect students to Vermont-based innovation organizations and alumni, and provide opportunities for reflection. The goal of the program is to put students in a position to take full advantage of the resources Vermont has to offer.
Vermont Innovation Summer is managed by the Elizabeth Hackett Robinson '84 Innovation Hub at Middlebury College. The Hub is a center for bringing student ideas to reality. They support creative projects through funding, credit, mentorship, space, and events. Their center also houses MiddCORE, Oratory Now, Middlebury Entrepreneurs, MiddChallenge, The Tree House Fund, and Old Stone Mill.
